Beware! This 67 Stingray is going to be out in the Streets

Mesa, Arizona (June 30, 2012) — This custom 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray recently rolled out of the doors of Rolling Canvas Customs in Mesa.  Coming in for a an update on paint and body, the Vette rolled out looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor.

Slightly modified, this ’67 is powered by a by a modern day LS2 that’s equipped with a larger throttle body and injectors on the intake side.  The exhaust exits through custom headers and a custom dual exhaust.

The LS2’s power is fed to the tires through aMuncie4 speed transmission.  A hydraulic clutch makes the shifting easier on the left leg.

The Vette’s frame was custom built by Tom Yancer.  It has been powder coated and pin striped.  Both front and rear control arms have been chromed.  The front suspension has been dropped with a set of coil overs.  The read is basically stock with the exception of a inverted leaf spring to soften the ride.

The body of the Stingray is stock.  The rear inner wheel housings have been widened to accommodate some beefier tires.

The owner of this ride wishes to remain anonymous.
