Preparing Students for College, the 1st Annual DRHS DECA Car Show

Mesa, Arizona (November 3, 2012) — Collector and muscle car enthusiasts gathered in the parking lot of Mesa’s Desert Ridge High School Saturday morning for a charity car show.  Proceeds from the show will go to DECA, an organization that prepares high school students for college.

“With over a 60 year history, DECA has touched the lives of more than ten million students, educators, school administrators and business professionals since it was founded in 1946. Their strong connection with our organization has resonated into a brand that people identify as a remarkable experience in the preparation of emerging leaders and entrepreneurs.

DECA’s programs and activities have constantly evolved as we use the latest technology and apply cutting edge educational research. Our core focus has remained consistent and is captured in our mission.”
Arizona Auto Scene had a great time at this show.  The atmosphere and warm welcome of the show participants was great.  As the weather is cooling and the show scene heats up, we had a great time catching up with old friends and acquaintances.
There were some beautiful cars that made it out to the show, including a couple of color me red red Ford Mustangs.  A blown ’82 owned by James Price, and a ’73 convertible owned by Dirk Howard.  Those weren’t the only awesome rides that made it to Saturday’s show.  Scroll down and check out some of the rides that showed for Saturday’s DECA Car Show at Desert Ridge High School.
