Brian Scott Wins the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in Phoenix

Avondale, Arizona (November 9, 2012) — The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 had the fans on their feed Friday night at Phoenix International Raceway.

The 150 lap race around the tri-oval at PIR was filled with excitement as race leaders changed places, trucks collided, and others hit the wall.

The green white finish saw Scott crossing the finish line first, taking his second career victory and first of the 2012 season.  The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series has seen 15 different drivers in Victory Lane in 2012.

During Friday’s race Jason White collided with  Todd Bodine on lap 49.  Lap 54 saw Parker Kligerman’s Toyota collecting Matt Crafton after getting loose.  During lap 65, pole sitter Nelson Piquet Jr., Johnny Sauter Ron Hornady Jr., and Miguel Paludo got together in turn three.  The sixth caution of the night came after Cale Gale crashed on the front stretch.  On lap 102, Brendan Gaughan, Ty Dillon, and points leader James Buescher collided in turn 1 after Buescher got into the back of Gaughan.

The turn 1 wreck put Scott in the position for a win.  After a green white checkered flag, Kyle Larson held the number 1 position until being passed be Scott on the final lap. The # 12 Dollar General Toyota of Scott took the checkered flag and the win Friday in Phoenix.
