Gooding & Company closes out its 2014 Scottsdale Auction with the Sale of some Exquisite Vehicles


Scottsdale, ARIZ. (January 18, 2014) – Gooding & Companies 2014 Scottsdale auction continued through Saturday afternoon as it rolled its remaining consignments across its  auction block at the Scottsdale Fashion Square.

Though they have many rare and beautiful cars to offer, one of the cars drawing a lot of attention at its 2014 auction is an unrestored 1967 Ferrari 330 GTS Spider with less than 23,000 original miles is one of two “barn finds” being offered at Gooding this week.  The Ferrari was formerly the Property of Dr. Samuel L. Scher.

Saturday afternoon saw some unique vehicles crossing Gooding’s block.  A one of a kind 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail hammered at $4,800,000.  It was estimated to sell at somewhere between 5 and 7 million.

Gooding & Company’s next auction will be held in March at Amelia Island.
