Displayed in Style! Lowriders Shine in Superior during the 2014 Car Show & Fiestas

Displayed in Style! Lowriders on Shine in Superior during the 2014 Car Show & Fiestas

Superior, ARIZ. (September 13, 2014) – Nestled into the foothills of the Leap Mountains, the small town of Superior is the home to one of what is one of Arizona Auto Scene’s favorite car shows, the Superior Car Show and Fiestas.  Held in historic Downtown, the cars, people and distant views from this old Arizona mining town couldn’t be better.

Some 150 cars were pre-registered for Saturday’s show, but many more showed on the day of the show.  The show area to both the east and west of Saint Francis of Assisi’s church was completely full.  Spectators filled the street as they walked around, taking in the rides while having fun with family, friends and other car club members who made the drive out to Superior.

With over 20 clubs represented, there couldn’t have been a better turnout.  ARIZA, Gold N Oldies, Groupe, Klique, Mi Vida, New Tradition, Nokturnal, Old School, Old Timers, Phoenquera, Phoenix Riderz, Redeemed, Seductive, Slow Lane, Society, Sophisticated Few, Techniques, Tiempo, Timeless Bombs, Traffic, and United were all well represented.  Tiempo came all the way from Las Vegas to participate in the show.  Though the clubs made up for a large amount of the entries, there were plenty of solos entered too.

There may have been some awesome lowriders and slammed bombs at this years show, but there were also some great American muscle cars and and numerous highly modified and custom motorcycles on display.  For those too young to drive a car, there were classic lowrider bicycles and pedal cars out on the street to be checked out as well.

Society Car Club did the judging while DJ Supetown entertained the crowd. In our opinion, the 2014 Superior Car Show & Fiesta was a huge success.  Good ob to those who organized the show!

Arizona Auto Scene took over 170 photos during the show Saturday. Scroll down to check them out.
