The Cultura Show & Shine was not only a car show, but is was also a photography exhibit featuring the work of Valley automotive photographers Alejandro “Fat Sal” Salazar, Abel Alonzo, Chuck Serna, Big Mando, El Rudy, Dominic Gonzales and Carlos Valencia.

As some of the crowd took in the cars parked on the street, others made their was through the Cultural Center, taking in the framed photos of fine automobiles that were hanging from the wall.  We caught up with Alejandro “Fat Sal” Salazar inside of the Cultural Center where he was greeting guests who were coming to check out the photos.  Alejandro was very pleased with the turnout ot Fridays event.

Held as part of Phoenix’s First Friday, downtown Phoenix was alive as people were walking the streets, making their way to the many galleries and art exhibits that make them part of the First Friday event.
