Las Vegas, Nev. (November 26, 2014) – Some of the fastest street cars and Pro Mods from across the nation were racing at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway this past weekend during the Street Car Super Nationals X.  The event in know for drawing in some of the highest horsepower small tire cars around.

Local Arizona racers Doug Driggers, Glen Bolz, Bill Wallace, Richard Shelly, Nick Kinkade, Justin Rennoll, Vic Brum and many more all competed at the The Strip over the course of the weekend.  Rick Snavely, driving the Turbos Direct Pro Mod Camaro took the win in the Precision Turbo Pro Mod class, walking away with $10,000 for he and his team.  Turbos Direct is located right here is Glendale, Arizona.  With final rounds of the SCSN expected to continue through Monday, Justin Rennoll, driving the Wallace Motrosports’ Mustang in Open Comp was kind enough to split the purse in the semi-finals so competitors with a much farther drive could begin their journey home.

Arizona motorsports photographer was on the wall all weekend capturing these cars in action during the Street Car Super Nationals X.  Bob was kind enough to share his photos so those of us who couldn’t/didn’t make it up to Vegas last weekend could check it out.

Scroll down to check out Bob Snyder’f photos from Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Street Car Super Nationals from The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

About Bob Snyder: “Growing up in New York just 28 miles from New York National Speedway I got to see many of the traveling Pros in the late 60’s. In the early 70’s just out of High School I went on the road with Jerry Caminito with the ‘HoleShot’ Mustang Nitro Funny Car until mid ’72 when Jerry retired and went in a different direction. I moved west and started hitting most of the big tracks. In the 90’s I was helping Jerry again and he ran into the late 90’s before it became to hard as an independent to run a Nitro Funny Car. Jerry retired again after finishing in the ‘Top Ten’ 2 years in a row. I now shoot photos for a few different online sites doing Nostalgia races around the country. I was at a bunch of AMA Motorcycle races over the years also.”
