Arizona Drag Racers Reunite at AIRAID to Share Memories and Catch Up with Old Friends

AZDragReunion

Phoenix, ARIZ. (April 27, 2015) –  The reunion brings together generations of Arizona’s drag racers, providing the opportunity for the group to get together to catch up with each other and share stories and photos of years gone by.

The 2015 Phoenix Drag Racers Reunion from Wild Horse Pass Motorsports ParkPaul Henderson had his Steinegger & Eshenbaugh Top Fuel Tribute Dragster on hand.  We’re not sure if he fired it up as they ran into some issues at the Phoenix Drag Racers Reunion a short time ago.

Bill Goosic does and excellent job with not only putting the Arizona Drag Racers Reunion together, but also with staying in touch with many members of our racing community.  We applaud Bill and his the effort he puts into his passion for drag racing.

For years, the Goosic family has hosted the annual Arizona Drag Racers Reunion.  The reunion has grown over time as more and more of Arizona’s drag racers and their families are in attendance.  Several years ago the Reunion outgrew the Goosic family home and it found a new home at the Glendale Aquatic Center.  Though it provided a hall for the reunion, it just wasn’t the right venue to display and cackle some of Arizona’s nostalgic race cars.

Last year the good people at AIRIAD stepped up and offered up their North Phoenix headquarters and parking lot as a new venue for the reunion.  Talking racing while checking out one of Arizona’s top automotive aftermarket parts manufacturing facilities couldn’t have made for a better combination.  It’s great to see an Arizona auto parts manufacturer supporting the Arizona racing community and its consumers.

AIRIAD manufactures performance cold air intakes and performance air filters.  We recently connected the owner of a V6 Camaro with one of AIRAID‘s cold aid intake systems.  The response after installation? “Holy s#@t!”  They couldn’t have been more impressed with not only the performance gain, but the ease of installation as well.
