Red Horse Racing's Timothy Peters Wins the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway

Avondale, ARIZ. (November 13, 2015) – NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series Lucas Oil 150 kicked off Friday Night at 7:00 pm.  The No. 4 Toyota Certified Used Vehicles of Erik Jones qualified number one for the pole position. Once the race started, Jones and the Ideal Door/Menards Toyota driven by Matt Crafton dominated much of the race.

Though they were able to keep the field in check, Friday the 13th wouldn’t be kind to Jones and Crafton.  Just 30 laps before the finish, Jones and Crafton got together in turn 4, sending Crafton down on the track and collecting Johnny Sauter on the front stretch.  Jones came out of the contact with minor damage.  Pitting after a brief red flag from the incident, Jones would finish 9th.  Crafton bandaged up his Toyota, got back out on the track and finished 20 laps down in 23rd position.

The contact between Jones and Crafton opened the door for Red Horse Racing’s Timothy Peters.  Peters would take the No. 1 position from the restart and never looked back, he took the checkered flag for the win.
