The 1955 Chevrolet Biscayne General MotorsMotorama concept/dream car was part of The GreatWarhoops Junkyard Find of 1988.  The car went to theWarhoops Junkyard in 1988 to be cut up and destroyed after its 1955 General Motorama show circuit.  The car was cut but not destroyed and was hidden at the Warhoops Junkyard for 30 years when it was discovered by Joe Bortz, founder of the Bortz Auto Collection.  The car went through a 22 year restoration that resulted in the car being taken back to it beautiful Motorama show condition.

The 1955 Chevrolet Biscayne was not only used by General Motors to test the public’s opinion of the styling cues but also highlighted and showcased the new V8 engine at the 1955 General Motors Motorama.
