Phoenix, ARIZ. (March 6, 2015) – The Chester’s Classic Car Show held as part of the Melrose on 7th Avenue Street Fair didn’t seem to have a problem bringing in classic and collector cars Saturday, running their car car show in competition with the Goodguys Rod & Custom Association’s 7th Spring Nationals.  The show drew in some beautiful rides to Downtown Phoenix.

Show categories included Antique Car 1900 – 1941, Classic Car 1942 – 1972, Antique Truck 1900 – 1941, Classic Truck 1942 – 1972, Hot Rod 1900 – 1972, and Custom 1900 – 1972.  Trophies were given to class winners.  Chester also had his choice in way of the “Chester’s Fair Favorite” award.  There was also a People’s Choice award.

More than just a car show, the Melrose on 7th Street Fair, held by the Seventh Avenue Merchant’s Association also included numerous vendors and activities for the little ones, including a fishing pond with live fish.

Mesa’s Dirk Howard entered his ’73 Mustang convertible into Saturday’s show.  While there, Dirk grabbed a bunch of great photos from the show.
