The 6th annual Covenant Hot Rod Association’s Car Show

20160319-DSC03487

Phoenix, ARIZ. (March 19, 2016) – 2016 saw the sixth annual running of the Covenant Hot Rod Association’s Southwest regional car show in North Phoenix.  The show drew in some quality rides from across the Valley and then some.

With a “joy and passion to witness the creation of a beautiful piece of automotive art”, the Covenant Hot Rod Association took pride in its show, putting cars in their respective classes and judging them against the other entrants.  From coupes to customs, there was plenty of cool rides to take in.

Held in front of Majerle’s Sports Grill in the parking lot of the Desert Ridge Market place, the venue had plenty to offer for show goers looking to get out of Saturday’s heat.

Mesa’s Dirk Howard was at the show Saturday showing off his ’73 Mustang convertible.  While there, Dirk took a bunch of photos of the cars entered into the show.  Scroll down to check them out.

By the way, Dirk drove home with a first place Mustang plaque.

  1. Dirk, I want to thank you for coming to our show, first as a participant and second for taking pictures of it and putting them on Arizona Auto Scene. We are grateful. PS Glad you won a trophy. DW
