Experience the Sights and Sounds of Freedom at Luke Days

Litchfield Park, ARIZ. (April 2, 2016) – Aviation history can be experienced in the West Valley today and Sunday as Luke Air Force Base celebrates 75 years of air power with Luke Days.

F-16 Fighting Falcons will be performing mock close air support missions, the new F-35 will fly a heritage flight, and stunt planes will be performing before the crowd. The main attraction at Luke Air Force Base’s air show will be the US Air Force Thunderbirds.  The will be performing a variety of air stunts that showcase not just the F-16’s abilities, but also the abilities of the elite pilots who are lucky enough to fly them.

If you’re not watching planes in the air, there is also plenty of static displays to be taken in on the tarmac.

The gates open at 9:00 am each day.  The first planes in the air will be at 11:00 am.  If you plan on going, leave yourself plenty of time as the show drawn in tens of thousands of spectators.
