Check out Mike Gardner’s ’67 Ford Falcon

Tucson’s Mike Gardner is the lucky owner of this ’67 Ford Falcon race car.  Powered by a 363 built around a Dart block, this baby runs in the 10’s.

The 363 cubic inch Ford small block puts out 521 horsepower at 7,000 RPM.  It makes 450 foot pounds of torque at 4,800 RPM.  All that power is fed to the 4 link hung 9″ Ford rear end through a Dynamic Mighty Mite C4 transmission.  The Falcon makes its way down the track on a set of Mickey Thompson 31 x 13 x 15 race tires mounted on Centerline wheels.

The exterior is painted Futura Sprint red while the interior is all race.

Mike and his Ford Falcon have won several races already in the 2016 season.

Mike’s Falcon can be seen in the pits and on the track at both Tucson Dragway and Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park.  If you see him, stop by and say Hi.

Thanks to Mike for sharing his ride with our readers!
