Polvadore sweeps Pro and Super Pro! Koons, Anderson and Terlecki also Team Summit Class Champions

It's the Second Race of the 2016 Season for Wild Horse Pass Team Summit and Arizona Super Street

Chandler, ARIZ. (September 6, 2016) – Competing in a seven race series during the 2016 drag racing season, Wild Horse Pass Team Summit members raced their way through through the ladders and gained Championship points while running in the NHRA Summit Racing Series at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park.


Competing in just six of the seven races in both the Super Pro class with his 3 Amigos Tequila dragster, and the Pro class in his 3 Amigos Tequila Ford Fairmont, Seth Polvador would sweep the points in both classes by the end of the last race of the season last Saturday night at Wild Horse Pass.  Seth earned a total of 2,830 points in Super Pro for the Championship.  Chuck Hawk was No. 2 with 2,516 points.  Larry Spitali was No. 3 with 2,444 points.

Racing double duty at each event, Seth also took the Pro class Championship.  Polvadore cinched the 2016 championship with 3,221 points.  Coming in No. 2 was Tony Marconi with 2,843 points.  Josh Edwards finished No. 3 with 2,740 points.

The Sportsman class would see David Koons winning the championship with 2,633 points after earning points in six of the seven races he competed in during the 2016 Team Summit season.  Dave Muller secured the No. 2 position with 2,552 points.  Diane Dyer came in just behind Muller with 2532 points.

Motorcycle racer Tyler Anderson won another championship in 2016, closing out the season with 2,877 points.  D.J. Martin took the No. 2 spot with 2,574 points and Derek Robinette finished 3rd with 2,071 points.  Each of the top three earned points in six of the seven races during the 2016 Team Summit season.

In the High School class, Collin Terlecki took the 2016 Team Summit Championship with 1,332 points.  Katie Webb came in second with 1,230 points, and with just one race in the class, Conner Sundstrom came in 3rd with 150 points.
