Celebrating Independence Day with the Fabulous Phoenix 4th

Phoenix, ARIZ. (July 5, 2017) – The 32nd annual Fabulous Phoenix 4th of July Independence Day celebration at Steele Indian School Park featured two stages for musicians, food and beverage vendors, arts and crafts, and fireworks.  Most importantly for Arizona Auto Scene enthusiasts, the celebration also included a classic car display for attendees to take in.

Several of Phoenix’s were willing to brave the 110 degree heat to show of their rides during the celebration.  One of those was Mesa’s Dirk Howard who was invited to show off his 1973 Ford Mustang convertible during the Independence Day celebration.  Along with the other participants, Dirk put the heat behind him and answered the call.

During the time Dirk’s car was on display at Steele Indian School Park he took photos of the other rides present, including one of Phoenix Raceway’s pace cars and an artist’s rendition of the tracks expansion project expected to be completed prior to the November, 2018 NASCAR race on the one mile tri-oval.

Scroll down to check out some of Dirk’s photos from Tuesday’s show.
