GoFast Entertainment’s “Race for Clay” and Drag Racing on the Strip at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park

Chandler, ARIZ. (March 24, 2019) – Arizona drag racers came out in support of one of their own Saturday night in support of one of their own at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park.  They came out to compete in GoFast Entertainment’s Race for Clay, a benefit race for Clay Forrester, an Arizona drag racer battling a second round of cancer.

Racers competed in two classes, True Street and Outlaw.  All of the proceeds from the race will go to Clay who intends to donate it for cancer research.

True Street and Renegade racers raced the 1/8th mile, the winner putting the round loser on the trailer.  After going rounds it would be Warren Darnell and Jeff Bomyea in the True Street finals and Steve Paulauski Runner and Alan Bracket.


Jeff Bomyea took the True Street win win a 5.07, 144 mph pass compared to Darnell’s 7.08 at 99 mph.


Steve Paulauski took the Outlaw class win.

Along with the Race for Clay, there were plenty of racers that came out to run their car down the dragstrip, taking the opportunity to participate in the drag racing part of GoFast’s drift and drag.

The Race for Clay brought in $5,000 that will be donated for cancer research.
