The 2015 Arizona Super Show from University of Phoenix Stadium

Arizona Super Show 2015

Glendale, ARIZ. (March 29, 2015) – The Arizona Super Show packed the grounds of the University of Phoenix Stadium for the second year in a row on Saturday.  The largest lowrider show in Arizona, Richard Ochoa moved the show from the Mesa Convention Center to the Stadium last year to accommodate the growing number of show participants.

While musicians performed for the crowd oogling the paint, chrome, etching and fabrication work performed on some of the finest cars the lowrider world has to offer, others check out even more of the same outside the stadium in record breaking temperatures.  Though it may have been hot outside, the hotter were even hotter.  Well worth enduring the heat to take in even more of the artistic craftsmanship that foes into these one of a kind rides.

Arizona Super Show 2015Mesa’s Dirk Howard was at the show yesterday, displaying his 1973 Ford Mustang convertible.  Though not a lowrider or bomb, Dirks Mustang is a beautiful example of an all original Pony car from the early 1970’s, and it didn’t go unnoticed.  Dirk took home a 1st place plaque in the Special Interest category.

Arizona Auto Scene covers numerous events each weekend.  Though we made it to the Arizona Super Show, we never made it inside as we did not get there in time to pick up our media credentials.  We’d like to give a huge THANK YOU! to Dirk Howard for sharing his photos from the show.

Scroll down to check out some of Dirk Howard’s photos from Saturday’s show.
