Scottsdale, ARIZ. (January 19, 2018) – Barrett-Jackson’s 2018 collector automobile Scottsdale auction has rolled thousands of cars across its auction block at Westworld of Scottsdale throughout the week, but some of its finest consignments began rolling on Friday evening.

The auction room was packed Friday night as some of Barrett-Jackson’s finer consignments began rolling across the block.  Offered with no reserve, many of the cars changing hands were bringing upwards of $100,000 and $200,000.  With an endless supply of inventory, bidders had their choice of cars to choose from.  In reality though, it is an auction.  Unless you know the history or prominence of the car being auctioned, inspect twice and bid until you are comfortable owning it.

Some of Barrett-Jackson’s notable sales on Friday include the 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt.  Sold to benefit the Boys Republic Charity, serial No. 001 of the 2019 Bullitt sold for $300,000.00.

“Boys Republic seeks to give adolescent youth with behavioral, educational, and emotional difficulties an opportunity to achieve their maximum potential for responsible, self-directed life within the community.”

Lot No. 1092, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Road Runner fetched $214,500.00.

Lot No. 1087, a 1967 Chevrolet Nova sold for 264,000.00.

Lot No. 1108, a 1969 Corvette sold for $220,000.00.

Lot No. 1115, a 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air sold for 165,000.00.

Lot No. 1121, a 1958 Chevrolet Impala convertible sold for $117,700.00.

Lot No. 1054, A 70 Dodge Super Bee sold for $161,700.00.

Lot No. 1058, a 1969 Ford Shelby GT 500 sold for $115,500.00.

Lot No. 1065, a 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX 4000 sold for $220,000.00.

Lot No. 1094, a 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR sold for $203,500.00.

Lot No. 1098, a 1965 Shelby Cobra CSX 4000 went for $110,000.00.

Lot No. 1150, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 sold for $198,000.00.

Lot No. 830, the above featured 1069 Ford Mustand Mach I 428 Cobra Jet sold for $77,000.00.

Barrett-Jackson will only be ramping it up Saturday as its finest consignments will be rolling across the auction block at Westworld, bringing the hammer down on sales higher than any others throughout the week.  The higher hammer prices is due to the most rare, high end restorations and exclusivity of its consignments running on Saturday.

Head on out to Barrett-Jackson Saturday evening to watch history in the making at Westworld.
