A EAA Ford Trimotor and More at the Falcon Warbirds Museum

Falcon Warbirds Museum

Mesa, ARIZ. (January 28, 2019) – An EAA Ford Trimotor was at the Falcon Warbirds Museum this weekend giving aviation enthusiasts rides around the East Valley.

For just $70 Valley residents were able to take a flight in this historical transport plane that first took flight in 1926.  Manufactured by the Ford, only 199 were made between 1926 and 1933.  Skinned in corrugated aluminum, the Trimotor was nicknamed “The Tin Goose.”

Dirk Howard attended the Falcon Warbirds fly Trimotor event and took some photos to share with you.  Scroll down to check them out.
